Allergy care Call Health Services if you need the specialized care of an allergist and they will refer you to the university allergist off campus. Health services can assist with transportation.
Medical emergencies In the event of a medical emergency, dial 9-911 first for emergency assistance and then contact Campus Safety & Security at 401-598-1103.
Non-medical emergencies In the event of a non-medical emergency requiring you to go to an off-campus medical facility for treatment, please contact Health Services for a referral.
Severe allergies Students who have been medically identified as being prone to anaphylaxis (severe allergic reaction) may authorize the University to administer epinephrine in an emergency. They should provide a doctor's letter or prescription notifying Health Services of their allergy and the need to administer epinephrine in an allergic emergency. Contact Health Services for more information.
